Why Homeschool?
An Informational Meeting for those considering homeschooling or new to it
With the drastic changes in which public schools have been forced to operate since Spring 2019, many parents and guardians have considered alternative methods of educating their children. This meeting is designed to explain both why home-schooling can be an excellent option for your family and the basics of how to get started. The following subjects will be covered in the seminars:
* Reasons to Homeschool – Why Education at Home Can Be a Superior Option
* Learning Styles – What Are They & How to Assess Them in Your Child
* Types of Curriculum – Options for Every Family & Every Child
* Educational Regulations – How to Deal with Them Simply and Effectively
All seminars are presented by veteran or current home-school parents or professional educators.
Display tables of various types of curricula and information for support groups will be available. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and talk with veteran & current home-school parents and support group representatives

Thursday, August 19 at 7 – 9 pm (a repeat of Wednesday’s Seminar)
