Please note: This list was put together from those known and used by those within the congregation of Grace Bible Church. There are many other resources available, both Christian, other religions and secular. They are not included simply because either we have very limited knowledge of them or they are unknown to us. Inclusion in this list is not an endorsement of everything that a support organization may do, but only as something that could be helpful to you.
Support Organizations
New York State LEAH (Loving Education at Home). This is the state wide Christian Homeschool support organization. Their website https://www.leah.org/ includes many good links to additional resources: Getting started, FAQ, Links, support for those for Challenged Children, etc.
Hudson Valley LEAH (Local affiliate of the above LEAH) – a Christian homeschool support group on facebook & at https://hvleah.wixsite.com/homeschool They have links to local activities and organize co-ops – such as Legal Warriors Constitution Class – 9/22 – 11/17 from 11 am – noon. Classical Conversations https://www.classicalconversations.com/ A Christian Home-school support group using the Classical Method of teaching / learning. There are local chapters in the Hudson Valley.
Grace Bible Church – we have a Christian co-op at the church. Information Its program can be found here – https://www.gracebibleny.org/educational-support We place a high emphasis on teaching all subjects from a Biblical perspective.
